Having already developed a brand identity for them, we were again approached by the Baobaobags team for help in promoting the site to Chinese consumers. To target those consumers we developed a social media campaign that used the dominant platforms in China; Twitter equivalent Weibo, messaging service QQ, and video streaming site Youku.

Baobaobags brings the internet’s best bargain bags to smart, savvy buyers. Aimed at Chinese consumers, the team behind the service commissioned UKC Company to develop their identity. The brand needed to show a deep understanding of Chinese culture, so the identity we created incorporated symbols that, in China, are synonymous with prosperity.

Mallalieus of Delph

When Oldham-based textile manufacturer Mallalieus of Delph wanted to take their high-quality cloths to the Chinese market, they came to UKC Company. Combining our specialist knowledge of Chinese consumer trends with strong art direction, we created a suite of promotional materials that introduced their great products to the Chinese market.

Yuzu

Manchester restaurant Yuzu serves authentic everyday Japanese cuisine, preparing food from scratch using locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables. Yuzu wanted their new website to reflect the traditional approach they take, so we incorporated Japanese design elements into the site, such as shoji; the translucent paper walls found in Japanese architecture.
