The Medical Research Council Appoints UKC to Deliver New CSC Website

Following an intensive four-way pitch UKC Company (formerly known as Language) has won a major contract to create a new website for the Clinical Sciences Centre, part of the Medical Research Council at Imperial College London.

The work will include an extensive redesign of the existing site’s front-end in order to improve user experience, whilst also making the site responsive across smartphone and tablet devices. The new user interface will subsequently be deployed as a template for other micro-sites within the institute, each representing other facilities that are part of the Clinical Sciences Centre.

UKC will also redevelop the site’s content management system, so that staff at the Clinical Sciences Centre can more easily manage the site.

Ben Hui, MD of UKC Company, said: “We are truly delighted to win this contract, especially given that it was such a competitive pitching process. Central to the work will be making the site easier to navigate and use: both for site visitors and the team at the Clinical Sciences Centre. We look forward to making the site deliver the experience that CSC had envisaged all along.”
