UKC Strikes a Chord with<br/>Mr Mangle’s Musical Adventures

UKC Company (formerly known as Language) has won a competitive tender to create a website promoting an exciting new music software package, Mr Mangle‘s Magical Music Factory.

The software, created by Mat Andasun of Nottingham Community Music with funding from Arts Council England, is designed to aid the development of literacy and cognition at Key Stage 1 and Early Years through using music technology.

Through the contract UKC Company will develop an engaging website that will allow users to learn about and purchase the software, whilst also providing a community platform for supporting resources such as lesson plans and videos. The site will reflect the look and feel of the software whilst providing a fun experience for visitors. The work will also see UKC deliver activities to drive awareness of the brand.

Ben Hui, MD of UKC Company, said: “We are delighted to announce this contract win. Fostering access to creativity is something that we hold very close to our hearts, and this software opens up music to children at a key stage in their development. It will be joy to work with Nottingham Community Music as they encourage young people to explore music creation through this software.”

Mat Andasun, of Nottingham Community Music added:“We chose UKC as they showed a perceptive insight into the potential of the software, but more importantly they understood the significance of making the website into a home for our users that looks and feels just like they are still using the software. UKC has a great track record and we are very excited to be working with them.”
